Children cheered by Iranian visit-The Star,Friday, 23 September 2005


ABOUT 20 representatives from the Iranian Embassy, including the ambassador, visited Tasputra Perkim, in Ampang Hilir, Kuala Lumpur, on Wednesday.

During the half-day visit, ambassador Amir Hussein Zamani-nia and his officials were shown around the day-care centre for children with special needs and briefed on its operations.

A special Iranian lunch was also served. The visitors also donated RM6,000 to the centre.

Tasputra Perkim chairman Elahe Norman said the centre always welcomed visitors as it helped make the place cheerful.
